Urban Legend: A Taiwanese Ouija Board

When summer is getting closer, there are more and more people choose to find a way to try out. There are many hot spot in Taiwan. Also, there are many popular games which is still hot until now. There is a game called"Ouija Board" Taiwanese version, most of Taiwanese people know this game. It is a simple game, all we need is a piece of paper with words on it and a little plate. However, there are still some interdiction that we have to follow. The most important rule is that we can't ask it its personal details, for instance, what is its name, how it dies. The better choice is not to play it at all. Beside the important interdiction, it is more dangerous for children and women to play it.

In Chinese tradition, 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. is the moment when ghosts like to come out. There is a popular spooky show in Taiwan, celebrities tell ghost stories and compete. For the older generation,Ouija board was a popular game. Consequently there are many stories related to the mysterious game.

The following story is what happened to those four students who played ouija board. In the beginning, they prepared a leaf from a Banyan tree and they dropped four drops of their blood on the plate. The strange thing just happened after dropping their blood on it. A huge wind blew nearby them, they felt hesitate because they chose to play the game in an abandoned house in the cemetery. The bravest student asked the first question, "how can he get every subject an A without studying?" The plate run to "impossible". And then the next student ask "when will I get a girlfriend no matter she is a person or a ghost?" It said "no problem". They were all terrified and their fingers left the ouija board. The person who asked the last question died from a serious car accident on his way home.

This story tells me that it is important to respect everything on the world no matter if it's alive or died. Especially when we want to play this kind of game. And we should definitely follow the rule if we want to have spooky experience.
